Disturbing noises between neighbors

August 25 2018What are our impressions of the accident situation in Italy?
The common perception is that in Italy nothing is ever done well.
A study was drawn up by Eurostat, later referred to in an important Assolombarda paper from 2016, from which we take a very short extract.
“Eurostat 6 calculates the standardized accident incidence rate per 100.000 employed, indicator that allows a comparison of the accident situation at a global EU level7.
These are numbers that do not allow a direct comparison of levels between countries, given the regulatory and data collection differences.
It should also be borne in mind that Eurostat considers accidents at work to be those with "absences from work of at least 4 days" and excludes those in progress, therefore the data reported in this paragraph they are absolutely not comparable with those from Inail sources.
According to Eurostat data, in our country in 2013 there were 1.752 accidents per 100 thousand employed compared to 2.389 in 2008: 26,7% over five years.”
There is still a lot to do and a lot of effort is still needed but, what matters, efforts have not been made in vain.
