November 4, 2018WE HAVE NO CONFINED PLACES
November 12, 2018Is the prevention activity we are carrying out working?
We believe that sometimes it is useful to line up some numbers, which can respond to beliefs that are not always based on concrete data but rather on perception.
It's true... there are still many, too many accidents at work.
Workplace accident trend Jan – Sept 2017 – 2018 = from 401.474 to 398.759
If we examine a broader period, however, we have a dimension of how we were compared to where we are:
Starting from the 60s beyond 1.360.000 misfortune sul labor reported at the beginning of the decade.
The pinnacle of the misfortune sul labor in 1970, with 1.600.000 cases;
In 1980 the phenomenon decreased to approximately 975.000 accidents in the workplace, which are those that are recorded in 1985.
What characterizes the last five years of the 80s and the early 90s is the increase in the number of reports of accidents at work, which stand at values that exceed 1.200.000.
There was a decline in the early 2000s, with just over one million accidents reported.
If we extend the observation of the phenomenon of misfortune sul labor at this first glimpse of the third millennium, the decline recorded in 2008 it only confirms a decreasing trend in accident reports, which have fallen from 1.023.389 of the 2001 a 875.144 in 2008 and again 790.112 in 2009.
In 2010 The accidents at work reported in Italy are 775.374.
Today, we repeat, the projection for 2018 can be towards 400.000.
There are evidently still many, but the work carried out on prevention from 1960 to today, in particular with the entry into force of Legislative Decree 81/08, has significantly reduced them.
It means 1.200.000 fewer injuries per year.
